Kingsway Service Tunnel 004

The London Borough of Camden commissioned Tempo-PCE to waterproof an 86m section of Service Tunnel 004 in May 2013.

The tunnel was showing considerable water ingress and had little or no ventilation. The moisture would eventually affect the statuary services utilising the tunnel.

Tempo injected TamPur 150 between the existing concrete saddle and the three brick rings, forming a flexible and waterproof seal.
Visual inspections carried out after the work was completed, indicate that the waterproofing is successful and the tunnel is considerably drier.

A smaller 14m section of tunnel is due to be completed in 2014.
